oceanswims.com tries to be complete and accurate in our swim calendars. If there is information here that is inaccurate, please email us (click here).

NOTE: oceanswims.com has worked hard over the past nine years to build support for ocean swim events. We get some return for our efforts, such as through commissions on online entries to events. This return by no means covers the effort and resources that we put into providing this site to you as a free service. As the sport grows, some outside businesses have begun to seek profits from ocean swimming in NSW through online entries. These businesses otherwise have no interest in ocean swimming. Whilst we seek to list all events on our calendars, and we respect the right of event organisers to use whichever service they choose to support their swims, we have adopted a policy that we cannot provide hyperlinks to events that work with such outside businesses. This is to protect our own position in ocean swimming. If we can't generate revenue, then we can't offer the services that we provide currently. We don't see why we should assist events to direct revenue to competitors outside the sport. If a swim in which you are interested offers online entries but does not have a link from oceanswims.com, chances are they are using an external supplier to provide online entries. We will provide phone contacts for such swims, however.

We will not provide hyperinks to privately run swims, either, unless they take out Featured Swim status on oceanswims.com.
